1What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? 2Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God.
3What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? 4Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written:
"So that you may be proved right when you speak
and prevail when you judge."
5But if our unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) 6Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? 7Someone might argue, "If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?" 8Why not say—as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say—"Let us do evil that good may result"? Their condemnation is deserved.
These passages talk continues on the passages before... does being Jew have any advantages... i think these reminds me of very many talk about how unfaithful Jews were, but God never let go of them. even when they fell away from God they were still saved by God. I know there are many verses talking about them how they are foolish, but there was never a moment where God gave up with them.
last few verses (5-8) talks about if us by sinning is making God more righteous, that makes no sense. this is slander... it makes no sense to do things that God tells us not to do and make it think that they are doing right because of that. These verses were really confusing but i understand that sometimes human nature is to bargain and say that if our sinning is making God more righteous then we shouldn't be punished is like saying... cheating and getting caught makes people who know everything more righteous so cheating is good. It makes no sense...
so let's just do our job and be a good christian and just do the right thing... n not bargain with God...

it's completely ridiculous when people argue that sin just makes God look better. let's not listen to those types of people!
