Feb 28 - 2 Timothy 1:7

“For God did not give us a spirit of
timidity, but a spirit of power, of
love and of self-discipline.”- 2 Timothy 1:7

God gave us so much we can use to get to know people. sometimes when we play basketball or when musicians jam there are times of fellowship that you can use to connect with people. some people don't take advantage of that. I sometimes don't even take advantage of that. there are many things in life that we should use for our benefits but sometimes we don't. sometimes we see it clearly that God has given us a gift to use, but we don't use it.

let's be thankful for the gift we have received from God and go out there and share it with others.

Feb 25 - 1 John 4:9

“This is how God showed his love
among us: He sent his one and only
Son into the world that we might
live through him.”- 1 John 4:9

God showed his love among us by sending his only Son, Jesus into the world and Jesus died because of us, because we sinned Jesus died. Jesus was probably the only 100% human that lived in this world and didn't sin. everyday i sin i remember how easy it is to sin. Sinning always happens to me and i always believe how crazy it is that someone lived... without sinning...

Jesus is the man... and he came down to earth for us, and God gave his only son for us...
what an awesome love and amazing grace...

Feb 24 - Matthew 22:37-39

“Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your
God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your
neighbor as yourself.”- Matthew 22:37-39

first love God then love neighbor...
be selfless like God is the simple
way to put it.

God is very important in our life and sometimes i forget it. sometimes i forget that God is more important then ourself. we should be selfless like Jesus was when he came down, but sometimes i find myself very selfish and caring only for myself. Life is simple and we should serve others.

Feb 23 - 1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us.
- 1 John 4:19

plain and simple... Love that we have between God and us is true because of God. God is very important in our life and it's just very important to see that God is all mighty and it's not about us.

not to us but to your name... that's what's important. we win at the end not because we were such a good person but because God is amazing. and his grace covers us all. life would be so meaningless without God and it's all about him...

so let's love God

Feb 22 - Proverbs 14:22

“Do not those who plot evil go astray?
But those who plan what is good find
love and faithfulness.”- Proverbs 14:22

hey let's live life by planning to do good things. let's not even think of plotting against someone. plot against anyone including people who doesn't believe in God. God is important and it's very good. God is good and he's good all the time... let's do good things so that we can make God happy!

good job give me give me that high five!

Feb 20 - Romans 13:9-10

“The commandments, "Do not commit adultery,"
"Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet,"
and whatever other commandment there may be,
are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor
as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor.
Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”- Romans 13:9-10

i think we miss the point many time when we read commandments that it's just 10 rules to restrict us, but as it is said in this that all these commandments really just say "love your neighbors as yourself." i'm continuing this talk of love. and this time it's about love we should be giving others. to love God we should love others. also it is said that if you really love God you must keep your friends close and your enemies closer. the love that we should be giving each other should be genuine still... it's hard but it's Christianity... and being a christian is hard.

Feb 18 - Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither
death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor
the future, nor any powers, neither
height nor depth, nor anything else
in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39

it's incredible how the love God gives us is unending... and so incredible yet the love we give back is just so limited. God gives us everything even his only son but sometimes we don't even have it in our hearts to give our time to spend with him for quiet time.

i'm very guilty of this because there are so many times i find myself pushing quiet time back and back and sometimes not even doing it because exam is more important, because game is more fun, and things in that nature. it's natural and impoortant for us to give back to our maker and our savior and let's be a good christian and not forget about God... ever...

Feb 17 - Romans 8:35,37

“Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall trouble or
hardship or persecution or famine
or nakedness or danger or sword?
No, in all these things we are more
than conquerors through him who
loved us.”- Romans 8:35,37

this verse talks about who can separate us from the love of Christ. i talked about God's love a lot recently and this is continuation of it. what makes us stop or what makes God stop? there is nothing. i think it say nakedness because of Adam and Eve, because they sinned they knew they were naked. we realized things that we didn't have to realize... we realized how unworthy we are to God.

Anything that comes in our way. nothing can push us far from God...

Feb 14 - 1 John 4:10

“This is love: not that we loved
God, but that he loved us and
sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice
for our sins.”- 1 John 4:10

valentine day is about love... usually it's about a love between a girl and a boy but i mean sometimes these days reminds you of love that God gives us. it's amazing that us as such an not deserving creatures as us gets love like this from God is just amazing... we are unworthy and how much i say it... it just gets more into my head...

I need to start realizing that the love i get from God is amazing... and that i should do the same to others...

Feb 13 - John 13:34-35

“A new command I give you: Love
one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By
this all men will know that you are
my disciples, if you love one another.”
- John 13:34-35

if we love each other unconditionally then we will show others
that we're Christians. why would we have to evangelize sometimes
when all we have to show others that we are different... that's
what's more important. we have to love each other and love
everyone in this world, because that will make us stronger
christians. it's about people saying... what's wrong with them...?
why do they like everyone?

but that's the point... we're different... we're christians... we need
to show others that we are different and that we're good... because
God is good... we're not good and amazing because we're just
SOOOO nice... but we're good because God is good.. and God is
good? all the time! all the time? God is good!

Feb 12 - 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

" 1When I came to you, brothers, I did
not come with eloquence or superior
wisdom as I proclaimed to you the
testimony about God. 2For I resolved
to know nothing while I was with you
except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
3
I came to you in weakness and fear,
and with much trembling. 4My message
and my preaching were not with wise
and persuasive words, but with a
demonstration of the Spirit's power,
5
so that your faith might not rest on
men's wisdom, but on God's power."
- 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

our job as Christians aren't looking down at the nonbelievers. Sometimes there are many times when we look down on non believers but we don't know who is saved or who's not... to be the best we need to love as i wrote so much about my past blog... love your enemies love others... never ending love is very important.

we are all human and somethings i say in this blog is very unreasonable... but it's about trying... it's about reaching up for the sky... it say on the bible that people will laugh people will make fun of us... but we know why we're doing this... and to live this way... it's our choice and doing what's right is all about being a good christian.

there are many times i failed to be a good christian... but it never stopped me to try harder to become a better Christians... don't look down on others... but encourage others.... encourage others to do more...

Feb 11 - 1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

“Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always
hopes, always perseveres.”- 1
Corinthians 13: 6-7

Christ's love in us is just amazing... it's just pure forgiveness.... just so pure... there is so much kind of love in this world but everything should be based off the agape... the love between us and God... all kinds of love should be based on this.... this makes us stronger this makes us understand something we shouldn't be able to understand.

sometimes i still can't understand the love God gives us... it's always for our good... it's always protecting us... it always trusts us no matter how many times we betray Him. God always hopes that we'll be back just like the son that ran away and came back...

it always perseveres and it always wins... our love for each other should be the same... we should love each one of other Christians as they are your blood relative.. maybe even closer... and we should treat people who hate us... even more nicer and better... God's love is amazing... so what are we waiting for?

Feb 10 - Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up dissension, but
love covers over all wrongs.
- Proverbs 10:12

it's weird how i can replace love in this verse with Jesus's blood. Jesus's blood is love... his sacrifice is the love for us. his blood covers all wrongs... that we've done... we always hate each other and don't care for others many times and it's like Jesus did this for us... and this is what we do to him... we don't even follow his simplest orders...? hatred stirs up dissension... hatred just makes more hatred...

everytime i fight i find out that... one person has to be the "bigger" man or woman... because if someone gets angry at someone and that person gets angry at the person who's angry then it just never ends... chain will continue and continue till.... never.... until one person realize they did something wrong... let's love and forgive others... let's let Jesus's blood cover us all...

Feb 9 - Corinthians 13:1-3

“[Love] If I speak in the tongues of
men and of angels, but have not love,
I am only a resounding gong or a
clanging cymbal. If I have the gift
of prophecy and can fathom all
mysteries and all knowledge, and if
I have a faith that can move mountains,
but have not love, I am nothing. If I
give all I possess to the poor and
surrender my body to the flames,
but have not love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

there's a song that goes "all you need is love! love is all you need! love is a very important concept for even for the people of the non believers. being Christians gives you a new boundary of love... God's love is amazing and if we don't love then we don't do anything. this verse just shares about how important love is... God's love is important and his love sets us free. so if we don't love each other then we aren't doing anything except just making meaningless noise

you can have the most humble giving heart and faith that can do miraculous things but if you don't love... you are nothing... that is a strong word... sometimes there are many people in churches who is ready to serve and ready to lead and has strong faith... but if they can't love... they can't lead anyone...

love is the most important thing in our lives... as fellow christian brother and sisters.... let's love....

Feb 8 - Matthew 5:43-45

"You have heard that it was said,
'Love your neighbor and hate your
enemy.' But I tell you: Love your
enemies and pray for those who
persecute you, that you may be sons
of your Father in heaven. He causes
his sun to rise on the evil and the good,
and sends rain on the righteous and the
unrighteous.”- Matthew 5:43-45

being christian is going against the crowd...
if your walking one way because you believe
in something... and 50 other people are walking
the other way... what would you do.. bump
shoulders with all the people going one way?
or just turn around and go with the crowd

most people would turn around but as Christians
we need to walk the way they believe in...

it's very important for us as Christians to do as
what we believe... love your enemies and pray
for them... it's what we need to do... we need to
love our enemy and we need to go the other way

Feb 7 - Psalm 97:10

“Let those who love the LORD
hate evil, for he guards the lives
of his faithful ones and delivers
them from the hand of the wicked.”
- Psalm 97:10

this verse reminds me of the lord's prayer... everytime
i say the lord's prayer i'm reminded of God's love and
how much grace he gives us. God loves us... so if we love
God and we really mean it then we should hate evil...
we should hate evil by choice and we should live a life of
truthfulness with big smile in our face...

because God saves... our God is strong and he saves us
he will help us when we are down or when we're in trouble
God is faithful and if we're faithful to him... he will deliver...

Feb 4 - Psalm 33:4-5

“For the word of the LORD is right
and true; he is faithful in all he does.
The LORD loves righteousness and
justice; the earth is full of his unfailing
love.”- Psalm 33:4-5

every time i read this... it's so not what this world is... this world is full of hatred... full of corruption and just full of things that doesn't say anything about God... it's more about the world...

we can only serve God or the world... it's weird... being a christian is a lot harder then just loving the world. God loves righteousness and justice... in the world they are against many beliefs that christian find right... if we are in God's side... world will attack you... but God's on your side and that's the most important point... if we're in the world's side the world will welcome us and God will love us because God doesn't hate us... he loves every single one of his creation... but that love doesn't last for eternity... but God's love for Christians does... we belong to be with him forever...

God is always faithful and God will always go through with his plans... so believe in him...
i do

Feb 3 - Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and
spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the
thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
- Hebrews 4:12

The bible is stronger then most people think. sometimes people say that bible is just a book... but it's so much more then just a book and it's the word of God... and it's powerful. sometimes you read the bible and it just... hits you... wow... sometimes it's just weird that the bible is thousands and thousands of years old and it's still valid... and sometimes it's just awesome the power of this book...
it's amazing how amazing our God is... and his words are the bible...

Feb 2 - Psalm 59:16

“But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your
love; for you are my fortress, my
refuge in times of trouble.”
-Psalm 59:16

there are so much times when we wake up in the morning
and get angry... because we are tired... we do things like
that because we are human but in the morning we should
glad that God made us and and he is our fortress...

Sometimes we say that if there is trouble we figure things
out but i think it's always God that pulls us out... and it's
very important to rely on God and love him with all our
heart...

Feb 1 - Deuteronomy 6:4-5

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God,
the LORD is one. Love the LORD your
God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your strength.”
- Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Simple... isn't it...
Love the LORD with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength...

why is it so hard to do so... why is it so hard to achieve
that? it is said that sometimes it's easier to say things then
to do things. specially the word Love... we can so easily say
I love you... to someone and completely be meaningless...

sometimes people say things so much but they never go
through with it... so let's love our God... with all our heart
and all our soul and all our strength...

I find myself comparing this to relationships... in relationships
there are many times when people say things just to get away
from things... why is it that people end up saying so much
but they don't mean anything they say?

we say "I LOVE YOU GOD!!!" then turn around and lie to people
treat people in a bad fashion and covet or such sins... would that
make that "I love you God!!" true? no... but it's what we do...

we tell God that we love him then we cheat on him with the
world... so let's start from the beginning... before we try to spread
this world let's mean what we say... and say
"I love you God with all my heart and all my soul and all my
strength..."
