Jan 29 - Mark 9:35

“Sitting down, Jesus called the
Twelve and said, "If anyone wants
to be first, he must be the very last,
and the servant of all.”- Mark 9:35

there was this movie called "talladega nights" where it
said... "your first or last..." and the point of the movie is
how stupid phrase is. When you think you are the best
and you think you are everything... people become selfish
and people think that they are just the amazing...

God is so necessary in our life... just to keep ourselves down
to keep ourselves humble... i think everything in this life
is about being nice to others and giving back to others...
i think in a normal concept of christianity and things like
that... we should have a really good society but we are human
and we fail to live the life that we should...

i fail to live the life that i should... and it's hard....

Jan 27 - Ephesians 6:12-13

“For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the
full armor of God, so that when the day of
evil comes, you may be able to stand your
ground, and after you have done everything,
to stand.”- Ephesians 6:12-13

we struggle... we struggle against the world. when
i can't think of things i need to do for projects... or
when i can't think of anything to write for my
paper... we struggle... we struggle against many
things but God is to reassure us that he is our armor
and he is our God..

more and more i look at myself i am struggling
constantly... maybe cold maybe just sickness and
maybe just everything around me in this world but
i think for being a Christian... it's more important for
us to... give our all to us and believe in that and that
only... God is our armor and he will prevail and he
will win... so let's trust in God alone...

Jan 26 - James 4:10

“Humble yourselves before the Lord,
and he will lift you up.”- James 4:10

we need to humble our self... what does that mean
i know God will always provide and here is definition
from dictionary.com

adjective, -bler, -blest, verb, -bled, -bling. –adjective

1.	not proud or arrogant; modest: to be humble although successful.

2.	having a feeling of insignificance, inferiority, subservience, etc.: In the presence of so many world-famous writers I felt very humble.

3.	low in rank, importance, status, quality, etc.; lowly: of humble origin; a humble home.

4.	courteously respectful: In my humble opinion you are wrong.

5.	low in height, level, etc.; small in size: a humble member of the galaxy.

so to be not proud or arrogant... there are so many times
when i feel so proud of myself and i'd act like i'm all that
but i am not...

if there is no God there is no us... and if you rely on God
he will lift you up and you will do good....

trust in God alone... and you'll see result...

Jan 25 - 1 Corinthians 4:10-13

10We are fools for Christ, but you are so
wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are
strong! You are honored, we are dishonored!
11To this very hour we go hungry and
thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally
treated, we are homeless. 12We work
hard with our own hands. When we are
cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted,
we endure it; 13when we are slandered, we
answer kindly. Up to this moment we have
become the scum of the earth, the refuse
of the world.

Christians are different in this world... we are not
treated the same because we shouldn't act the same.
i know i can be so guilty of acting like I'm blending in
the world and not being a good christian.

i feel like sometimes i act like someone who doesn't know
God... there are sometimes when i just get angry and
uncontrollable. this verse shows me that we need to be
active and different...

we need to endure and become stronger christian

Jan 24 - Philippians 4:10-13

“10I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last
you have renewed your concern for me.
Indeed, you have been concerned, but you
had no opportunity to show it. 11I am not
saying this because I am in need, for I have
learned to be content whatever the
circumstances. 12I know what it is to be in
need, and I know what it is to have plenty.
I have learned the secret of being content in
any and every situation, whether well fed or
hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
13I can do everything through him who gives
me strength.”- Philippians 4:10-13

This verse is talking about just that God is here...
We can do anything in God's name... through him
nothing is impossible.

I thank God everyday to know this. i do things and
sometimes i fail and sometimes i miraculously have
something that succeed and it's incredible. sometimes
it's really like God's really there and that God will
prevail no matter what.

God challenge us constantly to grow and it's our job to
live through and stick with it. God only gives us amount
of food that we can chew. and God is amazing...

this shows that if you believe in Jesus... great things will
happen to you... so let's trust in him....

Jan 18 - Matthew 7:12

“So in everything, do to others
what you would have them do
to you, for this sums up the Law
and the Prophets.”- Matthew 7:12

there is a saying.. treat other as you'd like to
be treated. this verse say exactly that i think.
this shows that God shows that what we should
treat others....

in the Lord's prayer it is said that forgive our debts
as we forgive others. i think this passage applies to
God to us and us to us. there is so much more thing to
be around someone and sometimes you treat someone
really bad and is it really fair for everyone to treat you
like a king or a queen.

sometimes i complain about how someone treat me so
badly. i'll say that it's unfair and if i really think about it
i treat some people really badly too... and they are probably
thinking the same...

so at the end... to make a difference... be nice... and people
will be nicer to you

Jan 17 - 1 Corinthians 10:13

“No temptation has seized you 

except what is common to man. 

And God is faithful; he will not 

let you be tempted beyond what 

you can bear. But when you are 

tempted, he will also provide a 

way out so that you can stand 

up under it.”- 1 Corinthians 10:13

This verse reminds me of SAW the movie.

in the movie jigsaw is a serial killer that 

wants to make a world a better place by 

judging the people... but he always leaves

a way to get out of the trap. 

i mean i am not directly comparing God to

a made up serial killer but like many things

When people are in control there is many flaw

points. 

there are many things people like us make and

it's suppose to be perfect but there is always 

corruption and other things that makes it not 

the perfect law system it is. 

God is the perfect system and he won't throw

things at us that are too big for us to catch

so when God throws lemons at you... you have 

to learn from your bad times and be more thankful

that God wants us to grow.

God always wants us to grow and he makes us better

as time goes and he makes sures that we don't 

fall away. 

note to myself... Love God and trust in him always...

Jan 15 - John 8:31-32

“[The Children of Abraham] To the Jews who
had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to
my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then
you will know the truth, and the truth will set
you free." - John 8:31-32

Jews were the people that usually hated Jesus
because Jesus was suppose to be the savior and
to their beliefs Jesus wasn't what they thought
he should have been.

this verses reminds me that it doesn't matter what
you are or what kind of person you are. if you truly
accept Christ then everyone would be accepted to him.

Truth will set you free... knowing the truth does set
you free from the world. there is no more times when
you are owed by the world. it's like you go to a different
country and you buy buy buy knowing that you don't have
money, and God comes along and save you from everything...

that's just crazy because its like paying for everything that
you owe. sometimes i wonder... who am i to deserve this
kind of treatment... and It's again.... God's love....

Jan 13 - 2 Corinthians 5:19-20

“that God was reconciling the world to himself
in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.
And he has committed to us the message of
reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's
ambassadors, as though God were making
his appeal through us. We implore you on
Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

first verse it's clear that no matter what we do...
how many sins we commited it doesn't matter.
God doesn't count the sins that we are going to
sin against him, and with anything we do...
God is willing to forgive everything and
is commited to us.

this has to be one of the most reassuring verses
i read, because it talks about how much God is
commited to forgive and be with us... no matter
what happens. this shows that We need to live
a life worth being forgive for.

sometimes i look at my life and i see nothing as
someone who should be saved or anything else
in such. i find myself questioning how faithful i
am or how good of a christian i am.

life comes at us hard. and so does the world.
world will hit us like rocks and we just need to
stick with it. and it is to not believe in yourself
but believing in God...

Jan 11 - 1 Peter 1:15-16

“But just as he who called you is holy,
so be holy in all you do; for it is written:
"Be holy, because I am holy.”-1 Peter 1:15-16

Today, i start by saying if i can sum up the bible in
very short term (which is very hard to do) but i
think it's.. "Do as God do"

be like him in every way. although it's impossible to
do so. to be a good christian... do as God do...

we have to be holy because God is holy. so this passage
covers the little of little of what we should be doing.
simple.... BE HOLY as God is holy which means be like God

we can't live sinless life and we can't do many things but
isn't the point of life always trying to be the best?
let's try to be the best we can be! which is completely possible.

i watch a lot of sports lately. soccer, football, basketball... to name few
but have you ever thought that in any players there is a flaw
for that person. even the great Michael Jordan is filled with
criticism against some people. there is no player in the world
where i can be like... that person is the perfect basketball player
or this person is a perfect soccer player or football player or
what so ever.

and human... as we get old... people retire in sports.... nothing is
eternal... moneys disappears and talents goes away... when your
body can't take no more. Michael Jordan wasn't the great basketball
player he was when he came back with the wizards.

be holy... that's very important to us, but also being line God is
very important to us also... just because something is impossible
doesn't stop anyone in the world to be best at something...
so why not try to be the best christian?

Jan 3 - Micah 6:8

“He has showed you, O man,
what is good. And what does
the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God."

My question that i ask myself sometimes
is... does God ask too much of us?
is that why we fail to be a good christian?

God ask for us to act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with our God.
God is amazing and if we do these things
then we will have eternal life with him.

God is amazing and to love mercy... that shows...
we can make mistakes and God will forgive us.
we fail to love him so many times, but he still loves us
and that's something i go across everyday reading the
bible and it's just amazing God will do this for us...

i love God and i should be able to do all the thing
asked in this passage for him...

Jan 1 - Genesis 1:1

first post of 2009!
YEAY!

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

i think first verse of the bible is fitting...
hahaha

well In the beginning there was God...
and only him and he created everything...

sometimes i wonder why did God create us
why did he create us so that we can be such a heart ache
and God knew that when Eve and Adam ate
apple that we'll just be pain in his eyes...

but wow... just for the fact that he made us and shows us
this amazing the love he gives us... is amazing...
i love how every time i write a blog
i talk about God's love
and it's great...

God's unending love is great... and i wish in 2009...
i would always remember God's wonderful love...

i hope everyone had an awesome 2008
and i hope they have awesome 2009 also!
