8.27.2009 - John 6:29

“Jesus answered, "The work of God is this:
to believe in the one he has sent.”- John 6:29

Work of God is this... to believe in the one he has sent. it's wierd how
simple work of God is. of course there is more... there is so much more
then just knowing about God but it's the step one that everyone needs
to take.

in a step there is always step one and the most important thing is to
learn to do... you have to take the first step to walk or run. you need
to learn to do simple things to lead up to a more complex more blessing
things.

In Christian life there is first most important step and that is to know
and believe God... let's believe in God and everything else will come
to us...

8.26.2009 - Matthew 23:27

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. - Matthew 23:27

There are many times when we act in front of people like we are perfect people. Christians are criticized that we act like we are better then other people. So what is the difference between acting beautiful outside?

we should know that God knows us for the true self and we should act like how we are. there is no need to put a front just because you are a leader or such things. i believe that it's unnecessary to be who we are not just to look good for other people and for God if we love God then we will learn to do things the right way for good.

8.25.2009 - Romans 12:4-5

“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”- Romans 12:4-5

This verse is very important in church. and even in
a bigger pictures. there are so many times one church
disagree with other or sometimes they fight because
they don't agree with each other. freewill or predestination
or things in that nature. something that is wrong is that
we are all in same side. we all form one big body of christ
that we should love God and serve God

so many times we try to be some form of body and we
are not sucessful about it. everyone wants to play guitar
everyone wants to do this... we need to find our calling and
serve God upon it. we all are one body and we all shouldn't
harm each other

there are no times when the arm suddenly stab the heart
killing the body or the arm stabbing it's own body's legs.
by attacking each other in church that's what we're doing.
we need to stop hurting each other and be strong

Aug 24, 09 - Psalm 119:165

“Great peace have they who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.”
- Psalm 119:165

We tend to not take God seriously many times. It hurts to see that we are like this and we need to grow. Non Christians take God not seriously because they don't know God, but we do. We know God very well and we still tend to not fear God.

Great peace have they who love your law... we need to know about God.. and we need to love His law. not because we have to but because we love Him.

Nothing can make them stumble... it's just great hearing things like that. If we love him then he will be here for us... so let's love...

Apr 22 - Romans 14:11

“It is written: " 'As surely as I live,'
says the Lord, 'every knee will bow
before me; every tongue will confess
to God.”- Romans 14:11

one of the most important word in this verse is surely... surely as I live, because God will live and always live in this world because he created this world.

God is powerful and at some point every knee will bow for the lord and every tongue will confess that He is the Lord. so why hesitate now? believe in him and don't doubt him. he is God an he will prevail!.. Let's trust in the Lord

Apr 21 - Matthew 26:6-8

" 6While Jesus was in Bethany in the
home of a man known as Simon the Leper,
7
a woman came to him with an alabaster
jar of very expensive perfume, which she
poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

8When the disciples saw this, they were
indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked."

As the song Alabaster jar said, we break this at your feet... The focus of the passage is not about the alabaster jar but the very expensive perfume. it's like breaking a ps3 (well not over Jesus's head) but for God's cause.

I don't know about other people but sometimes when I go to church and don't have money for offering and when people are giving money for good cause... there is always thoughts in my head. when i go out and buy a laptop or bike or paintball gun or guitar or amp or bass in that fact... i don't have any guilt... only guilt i have is... do i have enough money for that? but the moment money is dropped into offering basket or any charity... there is a thought on my head... what am i getting from this?

People are very focused on getting something back with their money. if you pay 500 dollars... i better be getting something worth 500 dollars. that's how we are made. we give and we need to get something back right away... well when the woman poured VERY expensive purfume on to Jesus's head... she didn't get what she paid to buy that purfume for... it's like if there was axe body spray that cost 5,000 dollars. right after you spray it on your body... girls better be chasing you like the comercials... when you pay for something you expect something back... for her to forfit what she had... for Jesus... that's... selfless attitude God wants us to have...

Apostles sometimes comes out in the bible as foolish people... saying "what a waste..." but if you really think about it... we all have that part in us... even when your dropping that dollar into the offering basket... some part of you is going to be like... dude... you can be doing so much with that dollar.... but when you buy something you get that rejoice quick.... but also... buying things for yourself... your rejoice last short time... because things in this world decrease in wealth fast... if you buy a laptop... an awesome one! like i did my freshman year for 1500 dollars... it already cost 400-500 dollars only... things in this world will lose values... but gifts in heaven last forever....

Apr 18 - Ephesians 5:15-20

15Be very careful, then, how you live—
not as unwise but as wise, 16making the
most of every opportunity, because the
days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish,
but understand what the Lord's will is. 18
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery.
Instead, be filled with the Spirit. 19Speak to
one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual
songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the
Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for
everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have to be careful on how we live. we need to manage our time so that we can get most of every opportunity. it's evil for us to slack off and things like that. i realized that i have been lazy and not faithful to my words by not doing my blog for a long time. i realized now hat we need to live wise lives and we have to be not foolish. so many times we feel selfish about our action and we are selfish of our action.

we have to stop making God fit into our schedule but to let God be in our schedule. we sometimes don't think of what we do for God but what we do for ourselves.

also we always need to give thanks... give thanks in our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
